January Group is now open for registration! This will be the last group working with the current ICF Competencies.
A Mentor Coaching Group that focuses on these competencies will help you to brush up if you are planning to send in a credential application before Spring 2021.
If you have been considering joining a mentor coaching group in 2021, here are all the details you need to see if this group is for you.
Who Can Register for a Group?
Mentor Coaching Groups are limited to 10 coaches, and are open to all ACC, PCC and MCC candidates and credential holders, maximizing your opportunity to learn from the experiences of others across the globe.
We have had participants from Canada, the USA, Spain, Greece, Nigeria, Jordan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka to name a few.
You will be eligible to join the group if you have:
- Completed at least 60 hours of ACTP or ACSTH training and intend to apply for or renew your ACC
- Completed at least 125 hours of ACTP or ACSTH training and intend to apply for or renew your PCC
- Completed at least 125 hours of ACTP or ACSTH training and plan to apply for your MCC
Who Leads the Group?
You will work directly with Master Certified Coach and ICF Assessor, Cathy Shaughnessy for both the group and individual sessions.
What Is The Group Format?
- Over the course of five sessions, in a series of 90-minute group mentor coaching ZOOM sessions, you will receive:
- Tips and techniques for executing on the ICF Coach Competencies
- Opportunities to hear professional coaching demonstrations
- Worksheets and checklists to keep the learning going between and after sessions
- Individual Sessions are scheduled at your convenience and must be conducted over a minimum of three months to allow for practice and integration of the concepts. In the individual session, you will receive:
- Direct written and verbal feedback on your recorded coaching sessions
- Opportunities for open discussion with your mentor coach, to ask specific questions about your coaching skills development
What’s the Cost of a Mentor Coaching Group?
Many coaches opt for the group format because the cost is roughly half that of individual mentor coaching. My mentor coaching groups are $1400 and satisfy the ICF requirement for 10 hours of mentor coaching. Participants receive 7 hours of mentor coaching in the group and then receive three hours of individual mentor coaching scheduled at their convenience.
